Help Our Barrenjoey Touch Team Take on the GCTAS!
Our Barrenjoey High School Touch Football team has been given an incredible opportunity to represent our school and community at the Gold Coast Titans All Schools Tournament (GCTAS) this October.
We are fundraising to help our 24 students and 3 teachers travel to the Gold Coast and take part in this amazing experience.
What is the GCTAS?
The Gold Coast Titans All Schools Tournament (GCTAS) is the largest touch football tournament in the world!
Over five days, more than 8,000 students will take to the field, playing more than 2,000 games across 30 fields, with an estimated 6,000–10,000 spectators attending throughout the tournament.
It is an incredible opportunity for our students to compete against schools from across Australia, challenge themselves on a national stage and create memories that will last a lifetime.
When and where is it?
The tournament will be held at the Gold Coast Performance Centre from 7–11 October, during the second week of the Term 3 school holidays.
Why are we fundraising?
Travelling to the Gold Coast and participating in a five-day tournament comes with significant costs, including accommodation, transport, food, uniforms and tournament expenses.
We want to make this opportunity as accessible as possible for our students and are seeking support from our local community to help make their trip possible.
Every donation makes a difference.
Whether it's $15, $30, $50 or more, every contribution will help our team get one step closer to the Gold Coast.

With respect and appreciation, we, the Barrenjoey High School community, acknowledge the Traditional Peoples of the Parramatta and Hawkesbury River Basin, who belong to the land and waters that we live, learn and play on. We acknowledge that this has been and always will be First Nations land. We pay our respect to Elders past, present and emerging and extend our respect to all First Nations people present today. Since time immemorial First Nations people have lived in harmony with the land, taking only what they needed and giving back love and respect. First Nations people live according to the laws and customs of the land and sea that have been passed down from their ancestors. As the longest continuous culture in the world, First Nations peoples have sophisticated cultures that vary between different Indigenous groups. We meet you here today with the understanding that when we share knowledge there is a better tomorrow.
