Bendigo Winter Night Shelter is a community-led program providing emergency overnight accommodation and support for people experiencing homelessness during the coldest months of the year.

Each winter, the shelter operates for more than 100 consecutive nights, offering a safe place to sleep, a warm meal, and compassionate support to members of our community who would otherwise be facing the harsh winter conditions without shelter.

The program is delivered through a partnership of local churches, community organisations, and more than 400 volunteers who give their time to ensure every guest is welcomed with dignity and care.

Beyond providing a warm bed for the night, the shelter also works closely with local support services to help guests access longer-term housing, health services and other assistance.
