About this cause

πŸŽ„The Gift of ReadingπŸŽ„

At Braille House, we believe everyone deserves the joy of stories. But for thousands of Australians who are blind or have low vision, access to braille books is still limited.

This Christmas, you can help change that.

Your donation will help us produce and share braille books that bring the world to the fingertips of people of all ages - from a child discovering their first Christmas story, to an adult reconnecting with a lifelong love of reading or digging into their summer read.

Every dollar helps turn words into braille, stories into connection, and pages into possibilities.

🎁 $50 – Helps create pages of children’s twin vision picture books, so little ones can enjoy reading together.
🎁 $100 – Could transcribe a chapter into braille, opening up more stories for all.
🎁 $600 – Could contribute towards a family member learning braille, so they can read along with their child this Christmas.
🎁 $3,000 – Can produce a braille novel to add to the library – a gift that keeps giving all year long!

This Christmas, give the gift that lasts a lifetime - the gift of reading.
