After more than 20 years, my dad (Brent Bones) is shaving off his beard for a cause that is incredibly close to our hearts.

He is doing this in honour of my sister-in-law, who bravely fought Ataxia-Telangiectasia (A-T), an extremely rare and devastating genetic disease. Sadly, we lost her battle last year, but her strength, courage, and beautiful spirit continue to inspire us every day.

This cause is even more personal because my brother-in-law is also living with A-T. Every day, he faces challenges that most of us could never imagine, yet he continues to show incredible resilience and determination.

Today, we're raising awareness and funds to support vital research into A-T, with the hope that one day a cure will be found and that those living with this disease can enjoy a better quality of life, more opportunities, and precious time with their loved ones.
