I am participating in the City to Surf event in Sydney this year to support a charity that makes a real difference.
For more than 20 years a small Australian charity, Lotus Outreach has run highly effective education scholarship programs for vulnerable girls in Cambodia. These have played a vital role in preventing child slave labour and sex trafficking.
It is universally acknowledged that educating girls is the most effective way to help families and communites climb out of poverty.
Please help me contribute to continuing this very important work.
All the funds I raise for Lotus Outreach Australia will go directly to the program.
Donations will be eligible for matching from the Macquarie Group Foundation according to its Non-Profit Support policy.
