Conquer Cystic Fibrosis is a completely volunteer-run charity, that relies on the generosity of our family, friends and generous individuals and corporate sponsors to achieve our fundraising goals.
Since our first Grand Ball in 2002, CCF has raised more than $6 million (profit).
All the money we raise is donated to research to extend the lives of the 3800 Australians living with this disease. Our primary beneficiaries have been the Australian Cystic Fibrosis Research Trust (ACFRT), Institute for Respiratory Health, The Kids Research Institute of Australia (formerly the Telethon Kids Institute) and Cystic Fibrosis WA. In 2025, we funded more than $870,000 worth of research including phage therapy to tackle the global problem of antimicrobial resistance, research into digestive complications and liver health.
People living with CF around the world have significantly benefited from the research we've helped to fund. Overall we have contributed to more than 80 research projects and we help to keep clinicians and researchers in WA or Australia. Treatments have advanced considerably but we are not there yet. Too many young Australians continue to die during the prime of their lives. Unfortunately there is still no cure for Cystic Fibrosis but with your ongoing support this is something that we hope to change. Please visit our website and follow us on facebook to learn more.
We are grateful for any one-off donations but we always encourage people to sign up for regular donations so we have the security to keep the funds and commitments flowing to the researchers. By forgoing one coffee or treat per week, you can be part of our ambitious effort to improve and extend lives.
Thank you for your support.
