About this cause

The Hawkesbury Classic Paddle is a unique opportunity to pit yourself against the physical and mental hurdles thrown up by a 111km, overnight, paddle from Windsor to Mooney Mooney on Sydney's majestic Hawkesbury River. This year, the Hawkesbury Classic Paddle is happening on the 8th and 9th November 2025.

The 65km Wiseman's Dash (Windsor to Wiseman's) offers similar physical and mental challenges over a shorter distance, and this year, for the first time, records will be awarded to fastest boats in all categories in the 65km Dash.

The 31km Sackville Sprint, (Windsor to Sackville) also offered for the first time this year, presents slightly different challenges, but also provides a taste of the Classic.

The event is open to all forms of paddlecraft from single kayaks, canoes and ocean racing skis to multi-paddler outriggers and Dragon Boats. The age of paddlers in the event range from 16 to 80!
