💔 Marmalade needs your help 💔

Marmalade is a beautiful mumma cat who gave birth to her gorgeous ginger kittens while in the care of The Kitten Cove.

Sadly, she recently developed severe mastitis — a painful infection and inflammation of the mammary glands, which can occur in nursing mums. Despite early treatment, the infection progressed rapidly, causing the affected tissue to necrotise. Marmalade required major surgery to remove the dead and infected tissue.

She is now recovering, but her treatment has come at a significant cost, and her veterinary bill continues to grow. 💔
