About this cause

Our Lady of the Sacred Heart Randwick, Our Lady of the Sacred Heart Primary School, St Margaret Mary’s Randwick North, and St Margaret Mary’s Primary School are joining forces to support the Don Bosco Boys Orphanage in Lospalos, Timor Leste, through the São Paulo Project.

This vital initiative is focused on raising much needed funds for the São Paulo Parish, which operates in one of the most under resourced regions of Timor Leste. At the heart of the parish’s mission is the Don Bosco Orphanage, home to 65 boys who rely on its care for shelter, education, and emotional support.

Funds raised through the São Paulo Project will help cover the orphanage’s daily needs, education programs, and maintenance, as well as support the broader outreach of the parish, which serves 19 chapels across surrounding villages.

By contributing, the Randwick Catholic community is extending compassion beyond borders by ensuring vulnerable children receive the stability, care, and opportunities they deserve. The São Paulo Project is more than just a fundraiser, it is a commitment to faith in action, solidarity and hope for a brighter future in Timor Leste. By supporting the São Paulo Project you will be directly helping to strengthen a faith-filled community, provide stability and opportunity for vulnerable children.
