Tender Funerals is a not-for-profit funeral service that ensures that those experiencing financial hardship/distress are able to access personalised, meaningful and affordable funerals. We also provide community education and empowerment around after death care. We believe that the greater brisbane community should have access to a not-for- profit funeral provider, ensuring that everyone, irrespective of financial limitations or cultural affiliations, can access funeral services that are transparent, meaningful, and within their means.
We will always be a not-for-profit
and we will always be community-owned.
We are not currently able to offer funerals but have a strong core working party who are our dedicated working group. We are in the process of becoming incorporated as a social venture.
