There is a high incidence of water-borne diseases in remote regions of Papua New Guinea, particularly in the river communities of the East Sepik Province, as a result of the people having no access to clean drinking water. Through the partnership of HOPE Worldwide Australia and Wine to Water we aim to provide water filters to 1500 households in remote villages that will provide clean, safe drinking water to approximately 15,000 people for up to 10 years.

To spearhead this appeal, HOPE volunteers, Brett and Janette Bennie are doing a 300km hike along the south coast of New South Wales to raise funds.
