Dog Rescue Newcastle is a group of volunteers working hard since 2008 to save the lives of dogs on death row in pounds north of Sydney (Newcastle, Lake Macquarie, Hunter Valley, Central Coast, Port Stephens and the Hunter Valley, plus Taree, Kempsey and Mudgee). These dogs are normal, healthy family pets who, through no fault of their own, have been let down by their humans.

Your donation will enable us to save these dogs and give them a second chance. All of our over 80 dogs and puppies are desexed vaccinated, treated for fleas and worms and microchipped before they are ready for adoption. If they need additional treatment for injury or illness we provide it.

We rescue very sick little puppies, victims of abuse, large dogs, small dogs, young and old - any dog which needs our help. We also help some cats and kittens. This all costs money.

Our dogs and cats are placed in loving foster homes where they receive care, training and rehabilitation in a home environment until they get adopted - no matter how long that takes.

We are all volunteers so our overheads are very low. You can be assured that your donation all goes towards providing essential care for all of our animals.
