Save Woogaroo Forest acknowledges the Jagera, Yuggera and Ugarapul peoples as the Traditional Custodians of the land and waterways of Woogaroo Forest. We pay our respects to Elders past and present and recognise the enduring connection of First Nations peoples to Country. We acknowledge the deep cultural, spiritual and ecological significance of Country and the importance of protecting the land, waterways and wildlife that sustain it. We honour the continuing custodianship, knowledge and connection of First Nations peoples and recognise our shared responsibility to care for Country for generations to come.
